THE GOAL
To increase the quality, the interactivity and the value perceived by those attending the courses through the use of an interactive system.
DESCRIPCIÓN GENERAL
NEXO is a multimedia system for giving courses with attendance in classrooms, without the need for a prior infrastructure, except for the existence of computers for the students. The teacher, through an administrative screen, will control the contents which the students visualise at all times on each one of their connected computers, thus making it possible
to carry out the presentations of the contents simultaneously to all the students and the carrying out of exercises in a joint or individual manner.
NEXO is a software programme developed by Quodem and which will allow for communications in real time between a computer which acts as a ‘server (that of the teacher) and multiple ‘client’ computers (the students). The speaker will control the contents which are displayed to each one of the students, making it possible to evaluate them at the end of each chapter or session and obtain the results in an individualised or group manner. The results of the test or examinations can be visualised by the audience automatically. The network set up between the different equipment can be cabled or with Wi-Fi, which would make it possible for an easy installation in any type of room and in a temporary manner (using laptop computers in this case).
